Above Diamond is pleased to offer a complimentary resizing service within the first 12 months after your ring’s completion date, giving you peace of mind in case the size isn’t a perfect fit right away.
Complimentary Resizing Policy
One Free Resize Within 12 Months
All rings qualify for one free resize within the first 12 months from the order’s completion date. Any additional resizes after this period or after the complimentary service has been used will incur a fee.
Ready-to-Ship Rings
Ready-to-ship rings are also eligible for one complimentary resize. If a ready-to-ship ring (typically sized between EU 52 and EU 54) has already been resized, an assessment will be necessary for any further adjustments. Resizing options may become limited after the initial adjustment. We highly recommend that clients verify their ring size in our showroom before proceeding with a resize.
Resizing Limitations by Ring Type
Non-Resizable Rings
Some designs, including eternity rings with full diamond settings, full pavé bands, and open bands, cannot be resized due to structural limitations.
Engraved Rings
We position engravings to avoid removal during resizing. However, in cases where resizing requires redoing the engraving, this service will be provided at no additional cost.
Design-Specific Considerations
These guidelines are based on EU sizing for Platinum, Vanilla Gold, White Gold, Yellow Gold, and Rose Gold rings. For custom designs, an assessment may be needed to ensure structural integrity.
How to Request a Resize
- In-Showroom Appointments: We recommend visiting our showroom for accurate ring sizing by our experts. Resizing can take 2-3 business weeks once we receive the ring. Contact us to check our workshop’s schedule if a quicker turnaround is needed.
- Mail-In Resizing: You may also ship your ring to us for resizing. Please be precise with your new size request, as only one complimentary resizing is offered per purchase. Contact us to coordinate this service.
Free Resizing Terms and Conditions
- Shipping Fees: Clients are responsible for the shipping costs both ways. We will provide information on shipping options and fees upon initiating the resizing request.
- Outside Resizing Guidelines: Requests beyond standard resizing limits may require a setting remake. This incurs a fee and can take 3-6 business weeks to complete, excluding shipping time. Payment is required upfront for this service.
- Warranty Conditions: Resizing done outside of Above Diamond will void your lifetime warranty.
